Lucky

So, since the sale was still on at the Penney's Outlet, we went back out there tonight and bought a new chair:

It was the same price as the other one, well, a few dollars more, but they had a matching ottoman, and with the discount it ended up being just a little over $100, which I think is a pretty good price. And it's comfortable! We put the other one in the living room.

I really did sort of hate to spend the money, but I did need a chair, and I spend almost all of my time at home either in that chair or in my computer chair, as does Bob in his office upstairs. And we bought him a new computer chair a couple of weeks ago. So we should be set for awhile.

He had kind of an unpleasant dental appointment today, so he didn't feel much like eating, but we ended up at Sweet Tomatoes so he could have a bowl of soup, and I had a big salad--our big night out. But it was fun. We do have a good time just hanging out together. So lucky.

When I first glaced at the photo it looked like someone was reaching their hand up and over the top of the chair from behind. What is that?

It's Thumper the Aromatherapy Rabbit! A floppy little rabbit made out of cotton jersey and stuffed with lavender flowers. He always lays over the top of whatever chair is sitting in that corner. :)

Nice chair. I recognized Thumper immediately 'cause I see my Thumper every day. He lives on the dashboard in my car and always brings a smile to my face.

Willa, I love your chair and ottoman, but now I'm intrigued. Where can I buy a Thumper the Aromatherapy Rabbit?

I love the look of that chair. Comfey and elegant! I was going to ask what that was on the top of the chair also, but now that I know, where can I get a Thumper from? Not only for myself, but I think they would make an awesome gift.

I put a close-up picture and a URL in the next entry: Herbal animals. They have lots of different animals, too, not just rabbits. I'm thinking I ought to get an Eartha Catt. :)

I love the look of that chair, all comfy and cozy. Here in Canada I would never find a good deal like that one!

It was a bargain, I agree! That store (Penney's Outlet) is kind of a pit, and you definitely have to search for stuff, but it's kind of like a treasure hunt, and I always feel so gratified when I find something that's a good deal. I just coulen't pass up the 25% off, either.
