I understand why Bob’s been using the case on his pillow since the day you gave it to him. However, with the dust that might've accumulate in it, it’s best to have more cases to cycle through. I love finding pretty and unique patterned fabric to make the cases. I was hooked when I made my first one and then ended up making several pair and also gave some as gifts.
